Our team often can have your song back to you within 48 hours for review.
(We don't guarantee a specific amount of time for song delivery, but they are AMAZING AND FAST!)
Share or email a recording of yourself playing the song and we'll turn it into sheet music.
Not necessary, but always helpful if it is available.
No need to be professional but if you can play the song and record your hands, it helps our team know how to get the notes exactly how you play them.
If you are already doing some of your recording and have midi files of the notes, this makes the process go even faster. In some cases we can charge a lower price if you have the midi file availalble. We'll talk to you about this if you have midi files of your song(s).

ENJOY AND SHARE YOUR MUSIC!*
Everyone has a different workflow, structure, layout they want with their music, etc. Let our team show you how they can make your life easier and make the pain of converting your music to a professional digital format faster!
Before our team gets started, we're happy to email or even jump on a short video call with you to make sure we understand what you are looking for as we start working on your song transcription.
Our team will start with by editing ONE song, to make sure we are a good fit to help you and work together. You'll let us know if everything looks good and sign off on the first song before moving forward. Our hope is that we'll become your long term partner for music transcription.
Our solution:
If everything looks good, you can request to have us do more songs.
If you'd like to have a song professionally recorded in the future, we can talk with you about having our team record the song at our recording studio in Ogden, Utah.
We'll send you the updated file with everything adjusted and fixed. We'll have you review it and make sure we didn't miss anything.
Our automated solution:
If you loved what our team did, we're happy to talk to you about helping with additional files.
For Transcriptions your song can be up to 5 minutes of music and up to 2 instruments (Example: Piano, Vocal + Vocal Harmony; Piano + Violin; etc.)
IF your song is longer than 5 minutes, there is an additional $20 per minute charge that will be applied at the completion of the project.
If you'd like our team to help with future songs, we'll give you an estimate and bid to help. In some cases for simple piano, the price could be less than $80. Most song transcriptions we do range from $55 - $150 per song depending on the complexity of the project, number of instruments and length of the song. Once we start becoming familiar with your needs, we'll talk with you about a win-win option.
If you are looking to have your song recorded, our team would love to assist. We have a full service recording studio with a Yamaha C7 Grand Piano and access to many amazing musicians, including LIVE strings, percussion, Guitar, Bass, and more!

Website & Marketing
Our team of marketing experts can assist with a variety of your music needs.
Our standard price for a song transcription is $115 but we will sometimes offer special pricing if our team is available to work on additional projects. Be sure to click the link above to see the most up to date pricing per song or any current offers.
If you are looking to have more than one song transcribed, we offer several "bundle" or "multi-song" specials. We've learned that when we have multiple similar projects, we can be more efficient, so we pass the time savings onto our clients. It's a win-win for everyone.
Transcriptions time can vary, but our team generally is able to do AT LEAST one song within 2 days, often faster. Some songs do take longer depending on the complexity, but our team consistently amazes me and others with their skill and speed.
As you get started, the first song always takes a bit longer and a few more revisions until we understand the format and style you prefer. Once you have done a few songs, we can typically move much faster and be more efficient.
Our team uses Dorico, Finale and even has experience using Sibelius and a few other lesser known programs that aren't standard. We typically do most of our work in Dorico and Finale (yes Finale is still working... fingers crossed...). We can provide you with a PDF, the music notation file and even a music xml file if you would like that. Just tell us what your preference is.
Yes and No. If the song is yours (you are the song writer, composer, arranger of a public domain song) and you own the rights to the song, you can use the file we provide all you want and in any way you would like. Some other online companies will charge extra for this. We feel that our role is to transcribe the song for you and we hope you use the music however you would like.
If you are asking us to do a cover of a song you do not own, we CAN transcribe the song, BUT you need to be sure to follow any and all copyright and publishing laws in your country.
Publishing laws are unique and often times if you are selling or giving away a PDF of a song that someone else wrote, you are probably stealing. Using a personal transcription for personal use is ok, but outside of your own personal use, may be against the law.
If you are asking to have a song arrangement you have made of a Pop Song, there are rules that you will need to follow before you share or sell that arrangement. There are several online sites that have arrangements of well known artists and most of these sites are literally stealing from the composers or artists by giving song arrangements away or selling them.
If you have a question about a specific song or use case, we are happy to give some guidance (we aren't attorneys) but we can definitely help point you in the right direction to find answers.
The song price we charge for transcription is for a song that is for up to 5 minutes of audio and up to TWO instruments. This could be piano and vocal. Piano and Violin or Cello, etc. If there is an additional instrument or more than 5 minutes of audio, we'll talk with you and let you know if there will be an additional charge. Our goal is to have this be a win-win relationship that is fair for everyone.
YES! We have an AMAZING recording studio with an AMAZING piano and AMAZING musicians. Whether you are looking for piano, violin, cello, drums, guitar, vocals, etc. Our team can work with you and help you record your own song at our studio or have professional musicians record the music for you. Talk to us if you have questions or are interested in recording your music.
Our goal is to have you be happy but in order for this to work, you as the composer must provide certain things to our team. Transcription is different than writing or arranging a song for you. If you are looking for help with arranging or songwriting we are happy to chat with you and can help to determine what is needed along with a fair price for the work you are needing. Regarding a guarantee, we commit to transcribing a song and delivering it to you in a PDF format. If we deliver the music and it is transcribed in a format that is playable it is considered delivered and the contracted work is completed. We can make changes but revisions must be within reason.
In the very unlikely event that you are unhappy or that you are a very grumpy person who isn't pleasant to work with, we'll likely refund your money and wish you well. (This has never happened, but please know that we reserve the right to refuse service to everyone, for any reason.)
